In Good ‘Company’
London-based art enthusiast Theresa Roberts has ventured down the road of commerce, with a decidely Jamaican twist. The Rock-born Roberts, a promoter of all things Jamaican, and her private equity lawyer hubby Andrew debuted their fast food eatery, Jamaica Patty Company (JPC) on Tuesday, March 18 at 26 New Row Covent Garden, London, to rave reviews. Envisioned as the first of a hoped-for 50-store rollout across Europe, the opening of the island-themed restaurant — which will retail a range of patty variations, along with rum cake, coconut water, soursop juice and other Jamaican food items — attracted a coterie of the Roberts’ inner circle, as well as the diplomatic, business and artistic communities.
SO shares scenes from the JPC launch across the pond.
