Chris Brown is reported to be suffering in solitary confinement.

The 24-year-old is currently incarcerated until he goes to trial on April 23 for an assault case from last year in Washington, DC

And the rapper, according to a report by TMZ, has already declared his time behind bars as “the worst experience” of his life and has even vowed to make sure he never ends up in this position again.

A source, who is reported to have spoken with Brown on the phone, told TMZ that the Fine China singer feels like “a caged animal”.

The troubled star is even said to be attempting to use his time behind bars productively, by writing music and working out.

Meanwhile, Brown is allegedly negotiating a financial settlement with the man he reportedly attacked, in the hopes of avoiding a prison sentence.

According to TMZ, Brown’s lawyer Mark Geragos is currently in talks with the man’s lawyer. Chris is awaiting trial for allegedly breaking the man’s nose during an altercation in Washington, DC last year. If a settlement is reached, the criminal case would likely be dropped, reports TMZ, and prosecutors are apparently aware of negotiations.

Josh Duhamel looked to have the solo parenting thing down as he enjoyed some father-son bonding with his little guy last Thursday.

With wife Fergie currently in Washington, DC, the actor is holding down the fort and doing his best to keep six-month-old son Axl entertained.

Heading out for a spot of breakfast near their home in Brentwood, California, the doting dad juggled his mini-me along with a large baby walker in the shape of a racing car — red, of course, for speed. The 41-year-old was also prepared for any messes that should — and likely would — occur with a white cloth resting over one shoulder.

Making the most of his morning off from filming his new CBS drama Battle Creek, the star looked sporty and comfortable in midnight blue tracksuit pants, a plain white T-shirt and bright blue sneakers. He donned a matching blue baseball cap over his short dark brown mane. The youngster appeared perfectly content as he was held in his dad’s strong hand, grabbing onto his foot with one hand while chewing on a red beaded necklace in the other.

Hudson creates a line for Ann Taylor

Kate Hudson has continued her collaboration with Ann Taylor by designing a small range of little black dresses for the American brand.

The five designs, which will hit stores on April 10, are named for their “sartorial spirit” including The Romantic and Camera Ready. Each one is meant to appeal to a wide variety of women, providing “something for every occasion and everyone,” Hudson told WWD.

“We designed them to fit how we all live,” she added.

The 34-year-old actress has also modelled the collection. Promotional images for the line show Hudson in a cut-out, one-shoulder gown with a high slit. She is also pictured in a sheer-panel lace cocktail dress, as well as another mini with a heart-shaped cut-out along the neckline.

Hudson has modelled for Ann Taylor since 2012.
