Coach vs coach

Michael Clarke, Calabar High: That’s our ambition to retain and defend (our title) successfully and, of course, our preparations are geared toward that. As to the outcome, time will tell. We have a balanced team and strength in one or two more classes than the others, and so far the plan and strategies that we have to put together to make it happen seem to be working.

vs

Orville Byfield, Kingston College: We want to break that spell of four years, and I am confident that this Kingston College team will be victorious come Saturday. Preparation for KC has been going very well and the boys are ready, they are mentally prepared and we are going out there to execute, and I know that if we execute, we will be victorious.

Kirk Brown, Holmwood Technical: I am confident based on what I have seen in the performances of the girls in training and what I have seen so far is enough to tell me that we are ready to retain the title despite what is being said about Edwin Allen.

vs

Michael Dyke, Edwin Allen: I think we are very hungry for the title because we were disappointed last year, and, based on that, it has motivated us tremendously to work hard to reclaim it (the title).
