St James Div 2 semis on today

MONTEGO BAY, St James — The unbeaten Faulkland FC will lead the charge for places in the final of the St James Football Association Guardian Life Division Two when the opening legs of the semi-finals are played today at Jarrett Park, starting at 2:00 pm.

Faulkland FC, who are yet to concede a goal all season, and Cambridge FC will meet in the second game of the double- header after Somerton FC and Belmount FC meet in the opening game.

The teams will meet again next Wednesday in the return legs with the winners on aggregate advancing to the final.

The four teams qualified for the semi-finals after the two-way quarter-finals that ended last week. Faulkland got by Amity PYC 12-0 on aggregate, winning the second game 9-0, while Cambridge FC got the better of Margaritaville SC.

Belmount FC beat Bogue FC 5-2 on aggregate in their quarter-finals, while Somerton FC beat Fire House to secure their place in the semi-finals.
