A ‘Journey’ Worth Taking
It was a night at the cinema for charity supporters out for The Women’s Leadership Initiative-hosted premiere of the comedy-drama The Hundred-Foot Journey at the Palace Cineplex last Thursday evening. Based on the best-selling novel by Richard Morais, the engrossing motion picture stars Academy Award-winning actress Helen Mirren, Om Puri, Manish Dayal and Charlotte Le Bon and is executive produced by Steven Spielberg and Oprah Winfrey. The lushly scenic drama which held viewers enraptured with its shots of mouthwatering French and Indian cuisine, and compelling performances that kept the cinema hooked.
