Iceland-based Reggae Girl Shaneka Gordon to debut against Puerto Rico
PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad & Tobago — Reggae Girlz newcomer Shaneka Gordon is set to make her debut for Jamaica in Tuesday’s opening Women’s Caribbean Cup Group A game against Puerto Rico at the Ato Boldon Stadium, starting at 4:00 pm Jamaica time.
Gordon, a speedy wide attacker, is a native of Old Harbour Bay in St Catherine and plays professionally in Iceland.
The top four teams in the Caribbean Cup advance to the CONCACAF Championships to be held in the United States in October.
