CFU Champs: Senior Reggae Girlz defeat Haiti 2-0
COUVA, Trinidad & Tobago — Jamaica’s senior Reggae Girlz progressed to the final of the Caribbean Football Union Women Championship after scoring a 2-0 win over Group A rivals Haiti at the Ato Boldon Stadium on Saturday.
Jodi-Ann McGregor, in the eight minute, and the hard-running Donna-Kay Henry (81st minute) were the scorers for the Jamaicans.
Jamaica will face either hosts Trinidad & Tobago or Martinique in the final on Tuesday.
Jamaica, Haiti, Martinique and Trinidad & Tobago have already advanced to the CONCACAF stage of FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifying.
