Man killed in robbery at Manchester bar

MANCHESTER, Jamaica – A man was shot and killed and another injured during a robbery at a bar in Georges Valley, Manchester, Wednesday night.

Dead is Sean Kameka, a labourer of Georges Valley.

Reports from the Mandeville police are that at about 10:15pm three armed men entered the bar and proceeded to rob the bartender of a sum of cash.

It is alleged that the men took Kameka outside where they shot him several times then returned inside the bar and opened fire on other patrons before fleeing the scene.

Kameka was pronounced dead at hospital and the injured man reportedly admitted in serious but stable condition.
