Full slate for 4th round of JCA All-Island 50-over competition
A full slate of matches are on in today’s fourth and penultimate round of the Jamaica Cricket Association (JCA) All-Island 50-over competition.
The highlight is the clash between Zone D rivals Kingston CC and Kensington CC at Sabina Park.
Kingston lead the zone with maximum 12 points from three matches, while Kensington have eight points after two wins and a loss.
In another Zone D match, Melbourne (12 points), who only trail Kingston due to an inferior net run-rate, host winless Boys’ Town at the Melbourne Oval on Derrymore Road.
Also in Zone D, St Thomas CA (four points) entertain Lucas CC (zero point) at the Goodyear Oval.
Westmoreland CA, struggling without a point in Zone A, are aiming for their first win of the season when they welcome Hanover CA (one point) to the Little London High playing field.
In the day’s other Zone A encounter, leaders Trelawny CA (12 points) and St James CA (four points) lock horns at Trelawny Multi-Purpose Stadium.
In Zone B, leaders St Catherine CC (12 points) host Kingston & St Andrew CA (four points) at Chedwin Park, while St Catherine CA (zero point) welcome GC Foster (eight points) at Port Esquivel.
In the other Zone B clash, Manchester CA (eight points) and winless Clarendon CA (four) meet at the latter’s base at Jamalco.
At Up Park Camp, Zone C leaders Jamaica Defence Force (JDF), with 12 points from three matches, will put their winning record on the line when they entertain St Ann CA (five points).
Also in Zone C, Police (zero point) travel to Folly Oval to meet Portland CA (two points), while St Mary CA (eight points) host University of the West Indies (five points) at Three Hills.
All matches are scheduled to start at 9:30 am.
