Sasco and Dream

In Case U Missed It

Agent Sasco featured on a Kendrick Lamar track

Dancehall artiste Agent Sasco is making waves in the rap circles yet again after he was recently featured on the Kendrick Lamar track The Blacker The Berry. Sasco provided the hook for the song that has industry persons buzzing.

The track speaks about a black-American experience and Assassin’s hook adds a Jamaican voice to that and even expands the scope of the theme.

In 2013, Assassin was also featured on Kanye West’s I’m In It track that was on the popular Yeezus album.

Dream Weekend signs new sponsor

After years of providing party-goers with the ultimate Negril party experience under the Smirnoff brand, Dream Weekend has shifted gears. The Dream weekend brand has now aligned itself with new title sponsors Appleton Special Rum.

The change in spirits, however, is not expected to affect the overall Dream Weekend experience. Managing director for Dream Entertainment, Scott Dunn, is reported as saying that there will be more changes to this year’s staging of the event. The event will feature 10 parties in five days, including a soca party and a sound clash.

Selena Gomez’s new man and new song

Selena Gomez, 22, is rumoured to be dating 25-year-old DJ Zedd, following the apparent end of her on-again, off-again romance with Justin Beiber. Gomez and Zedd have not officially confirmed or denied that they are a couple but the tabloids have been pushing them together.

While it is not clear or certain if these two are making a romantic debut, one thing is sure is that they are making a musical debut. Gomez released a new song titled I Want You To Know featuring DJ Zedd. The song is described as a love ballad in which Selena all but tells Zedd ‘I love you’.
