CLARENDON football giants Humble Lion and Sporting Central will renew their rivalry tonight when they meet in a crucial Red Stripe Premier League third-round fixture at Effortville Community Centre in May Pen, starting at 8:30.
Both sides are in need of three points to advance their respective cause, with fourth-placed Humble Lion, on 45 points, looking to cement a semi-final spot, while 10th-placed Sporting Central, on 31 points, are again hoping to avoid relegation.
The Donovan Duckie-coached Humble Lion entered this round of games five points clear of fifth-placed Harbour View, while the Nigel Stewart-conditioned Sporting sit one place and four points ahead of the drop zone, which is currently occupied by Reno FC (27 points) and Barbican FC (24).
