Hyde shuts down 2015 season on advice of doctor
After an unusually lengthy 2014 season, Jaheel Hyde has been advised by his doctor to end his 2015 season in order to rest, recuperate and recover from fatigue and soreness of the muscles. Hyde did not compete in the final of the 400m hurdles at the JAAA National Senior Trials due to an aggravated hamstring. After treatment and therapy, the prognosis favoured the decision to end the season and refresh for a greater 2016 return.
Subsequently, he withdrew from the Pan Am Junior Championships where he was selected to participate in the 400m hurdles event.
Hyde wishes to thank the JAAA for selection to the Pan American Jnr Championships, LIME, other sponsors, his coaching staff, well-wishers and all who supported him unwaveringly.
He and his management team look forward to this continued support and an awesome 2016.
