Panasonic Makes It Loud and Clear
Electronics giant Panasonic unveiled the latest in its sleek, bass-heavy, sub-woofer audio systems last Thursday evening at Lady Musgrave Road hot spot CRU Bar & Kitchen. With the Caribbean region an integral part of Panasonic’s market share — accounting for 10 per cent of its bottom line returns — the three-man team of Caribbean General Manager Franklin Raymores, Caribbean Trade Marketing Coordinator and Audio Specialist José Alborch jetted in to the island for last week’s media launch which generated enthusiastic support from members of the fourth estate.
Between Alborch’s walkthrough of the audio systems’ distinct features, replete with sonic blast demonstrations, and dancehall-choreographed numbers from the Dance Xpressionz troupe, guests, which included product retailer execs from ATL, Courts and Singer, music stars and Miss Jamaica World finalists, were gifted with complimentary Panasonic RP/HX F2000 headphones.
Sunday Finance checked in to the event.
