REGGAE legend Marcia Griffiths continues the celebrations of her 50th anniversary in the music industry with a concert at the 02 Arena in England, on Monday.

The singer — known for tracks including Truly, Step Outta Babylon, and Electric Boogie — said she is looking forward to the performance which will also feature Bob Andy, Judy Mowatt, Tanya Stephens, Richie Spice, as well as the 809 Band.

“I’m feeling really positive about the show, and it will be great to finally do it after we were unable to earlier in the year. I still really love performing, and it is always an honour to share the stage with so many different artistes,” the celebrated songstress told The Bristol Post.

“I usually say that England is my second home musically, because I have lived there and the audiences really connect with the music. I have also enjoyed some big hits in England, too, which is a great feeling. Coming to England is a beautiful experience. The fans make me feel so good and rejuvenate me on stage.

“I will put on a great show with my friends. I’ve performed with many people during my career, but these are some of my very favourites and they are the ones I want to play with to celebrate my 50 years in music. I promise we will bring you a very beautiful show,” she continued.

Tickets for Monday’s event are going at just over £30.
