Stationery drive
Sagicor Life Jamaica Limited last week donated 50 notebooks and 50 pencils to the Rotaract Club of St Andrew’s back-to-school stationery drive. The handing over took place at Sagicor’s head office in New Kingston. The club’s vice-president Sheldon Pinnock accepted the donation from Krystle Hawes Simpson, Financial Advisor at Sagicor. Sharing in the occasion were club members (from left) Clifton Cawley, Sherika Watson, Paige Jackson, Anna-Kae West and Angeleque Curtis. The National Road Safety Council has also committed to donating 100 notebooks to the club. The donated items will be presented to students at Balcombe Drive Primary and Junior High School in Kingston on International Literacy Day, which is recognised on September 8.
