12 Chefs of Christmas

The rains Sunday afternoon added further cosiness to the Hope Botanical Gardens family setting as The Best Dressed Chicken introduced their annual 12 Chefs of Christmas promotion.

The theme was a Potluck style picnic in the park.

The 12 chefs each introduced a dish to a cabal of enthusiastic epicureans.

Wines for the picnic were poured by Betco Premier Limited.

The 12 Chefs of Christmas promotion will afford 12 ever-sofortunate winners the opportunity of a whimsical Christmas dinners catered by any one of 12 celebrated chefs.

The potluck included chicken crêpes From the executive creative director, From Thought To Finish, Jacqui Tyson; smoked salmon wraps from Moveable Feast Caterers frontwoman Michele Williams; gungo peas chowder by Ashebre Culinary Artist Oji Jaja; hoisin-glazed chicken roulade by chef Brian Lumley; classic roasted chicken and glazed ham by Jewel Resorts Chef Ravi Anne; lychee chilli shrimp by ‘Queen of the Pop-Up Kitchen,’ caterer Lorraine Fung; oxtail lasagna by Guilt caterer Colin Hylton; mushroom pilaf by Miss T’s Kitchen chef/patron Annakay Tomlinson; candied pumpkin by Pink Apron caterer Charissa Henry; shaved zucchini salad by personal chef Celeste Gordon; deconstructed tiramisu by Ally’s Kitchen caterer Allison Porter- Smalling; and jackfruit cheesecake by Tryall Club & Resort Villas Executive Chef Ansel Beason.
