SPANISH TOWN, St Catherine — Tru-Juice are now the sole leaders in Zone Two of the St Catherine FA/Flow Major League competition following a 1-0 victory over New Raiders in the latest round of games.

Gawayne Smith scored the winner for Tru-Juice in the 13th minute, as his side moved three points clear of second-placed Old Harbour Bay United.

Old Harbour suffered their second defeat of the season, losing 0-1 to Newland, which saw Dunbeholden moving to within a point of the semi-final places.

The promoted side eased by Christian Pen 4-1, with Graig Gayle scoring a hat-trick in the 31st, 56th and 68th minutes Alwin Morgan got the other goal in the 63rd.

Federal United, the other promoted side, also registered a win at the weekend, but needed two last-gasp goals from Olanzo Brown (82nd) and Shaquon Bryan (90th+2) to beat Portsmouth 2-0.

With the win, Federal (13) maintained their four-point gap at the top of Zone One after former champions Frazsiers Whip stopped Dela Vega City 3-1 for only their second win of the season.

Meanwhile, Division One outfits Marcus Garvey FC and Windsor Lion FC continue to lead the race for Major League promotion following contrasting results on Sunday.

Marcus Garvey blanked Hellshire United 3-0 to trade places with Windsor at the summit. Windsor were beaten 2-1 by Albion and were, consequently, relegated to second on nine points — one shy of the new leaders.

Elsewhere, Watson Grove outscored East Portmore Portals 5-2, while Benbow United and Rodwood earned respective 1-0 wins over Travellers and Naggo Head.
