Woman shot dead, man injured in downtown Kingston
KINGSTON, Jamaica – A woman was on Monday evening shot dead and a man shot and injured when gunmen struck at the intersection of Water Lane and Orange Street in downtown Kingston.
Reports are that about 6:00 pm, people doing business in the busy town heard explosions in the area and called the police.
The body of the woman was found at the side of the road in a pool of blood.
Her named has not yet been released.
Kingston Central police are investigating.
