3 firearms, ammo seized in Kingston
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Detectives assigned to the Counter Terrorism and Organized Crime Investigation (C-TOC) Branch, under the ‘Get the Guns’ campaign, seized three firearms and more than 270 rounds of ammunition on Wednesday, January 20.
The police report that about 3:00 pm, lawmen intercepted a Toyota Axio motor car with three men aboard at the intersection of Spanish Town Road and Hagley Park Road in St Andrew.
The vehicle was searched and lead lists used in lottery scamming, two 9mm pistols, a .38 revolver along with the ammunition and cellular phones seized.
Three men have been arrested in connection with the seizure however their identities have been withheld to facilitate further investigations.
