Gun, ammo seized in Kingston
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Two men and a woman are now in custody following the seizure of a firearm and several rounds of ammunition along the Sir Florizel Glasspole Highway, Kingston, early this morning.
Reports from the Rockfort Police are that about 1:10 am a police team was conducting vehicular checks along the highway when a car was signalled to stop. The vehicle and its passengers were searched and a 9mm pistol along with five 9mm rounds were allegedly found and seized.
The police say that the identities of the suspects are being withheld pending further investigations.
