Two men nabbed in St Mary cocaine bust
ST MARY, Jamaica – Two men were arrested and charged for breaches of the Dangerous Drugs Act by lawmen who were on operation on Lake View Drive, Tower Isle in St Mary, last Friday.
They are 59-year-old Ureal Taylor of Tower Isle, and 29-year-old Rajiv Webley of Tivoli Gardens, Kingston.
Reports are that between 5:00 am and 7:00 am, a house was searched and three plastic tubes containing 69 packets of cocaine, which weighed 3.8 grams, and four parcels containing 34.6 grams of cocaine were allegedly found.
The police say an additional 17 packets of cocaine were found on one of the occupants.
Cash amounting to J$181,700 was also seized.
Both men are scheduled to appear in the Port Maria Resident Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, January 28.
