UPDATE: INDECOM probing death of 13-y-o student
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) has launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of 13-year-old J’Quan Forbes, the son of a member of the Jamaica Constabulary Force.

The incident occurred on Monday, April 25, at their home in Olympic Gardens.
“The Commission wishes to extend their condolences to the family of J’Quan in what must be an extremely difficult time,” an INDECOM statement said Wednesday.
INDECOM said that while the full circumstances surrounding young Forbes’ death is under investigation it is reported that the father’s service pistol was used in the tragedy.
A team from the Commission visited the incident scene and conducted an initial interview with the concerned policeman, INDECOM said.
