Manchester Parish Council raided by cops
MANCHESTER, Jamaica — The office of the Manchester Parish Council was among several premises searched by authorities this morning.
Personnel from the Office of the Contractor General (OCG) supported by the police’s Financial Investigations Division and investigators from the Major Organised Crime and Anti-Corruption Agency (MOCA) conducted a major coordinated search and seizure operation in the parishes of Manchester and Clarendon.
According to a MOCA release, several search warrants were executed at various premises. Documents, cash and electronic devices relating to the investigation were reportedly seized by the authorities.
The operation continues.
