There was nothing but white-sand fun for patrons enjoying the Pacific-themed Tahiti Kabañas, on Sunday at The Boardwalk, Portmore, St Catherine.

“Our feedback indicated that most persons had a great time and loved the set-up,” co-promoter Nashwell Thomas told the Jamaica Observer.

Once past the signature boardwalk at the entrance of the venue, partygoers entered the white-sand beach to the view the 15 white cabanas for the reserved guests. Those lucky enough to snag one, enjoyed full service from beautiful young ladies dressed in coconut shell bikini tops and matching grass skirts. Those that didn’t could still enjoy themselves with the all-inclusive drinks.

This was the event’s second staging. It was first held last year in St Thomas.

“We had outgrown that venue and felt it best to bring it Portmore,” he said.

This level of growth and continued popularly of Tahiti Kabañas was what brought it out to the competitive all-inclusive party scene.

“Two years prior, it was just a backyard social event,” he explained.

Before moving Tahiti Kabañas to full-scale party in 2015, Nashwell said the concept was being refined as a lyme for friends in his own backyard, where he was eventually encouraged to make it into full-fledged event.

Nashwell said they were already working to put on the event again in November.

“Some of the people we spoke to kept asking when we’d have the next one. They wanted another one soon, but we’re working towards November.”
