Poetical plants a kiss on Rihanna
Deejay/rapper Poetical goes for the big time with his cover of Rihanna’s Kiss it Better.
The artiste, born Kevinston Green, said he was ‘vibesing’ the song at a Kingston recording studio when his impromptu performance caught the ears of Flava from Flava Chris Management and Dean from 4real Graphic Designzz.
“They were on spot at the studio and they were both like ‘YoW! That sound really good..why you don’t go inside the studio and do that?’
Poetical took their advice and recorded his version of Kiss It Better with Flava.
From Southside in Central Kingston, Poetical’s infuences include Super Cat, Little Lenny, Beenie Man, Shabba Ranks, Degree, Bounty Killer and Vybz Kartel. He has been recording for four years. His first song was Blacks On Top which he did with Daddy Mix.
He is also promoting Don’t Bow, another new song.
