Two brothers killed by alleged police impersonators
CLARENDON, Jamaica – Two brothers were this morning shot dead at their home in the Havana Heights community of May Pen, Clarendon.
Reports from the police are that 19-year-old Javelle Lawrence and his brother, 18-year-old Romario Lawrence, were shot dead about 2:40 am as they slept.
Their attackers, who were reportedly impersonating police officers, kicked open the door to their home and opened gunfire hitting them.
They were pronounced dead at hospital.
The police’s Corporate Communications Unit said Thursday that there is no motive yet for the killings.
