WOLMER’S Dance Troupe is promising nothing but entertainment for patrons during their 26th season of dance to be held this weekend at the Little Theatre in Kingston.

Founder and artistic director, Barbara McDaniel describes this year’s production, entitled Jus Dance, as “different” and “relaxed”.

“It’s a different season. This season is about just dancing; just to relax and do your movements. Just to relax and entertain the audience and if the audience feels like getting up and dance, they can,” she told Splash.

According to McDaniel, the pieces will showcase the different moods of dance.

“Dance can do various things. It can make you happy, it can make you sad,” she continued.

While she is proud of all of her dancers, she says the audience will particularly enjoy seeing the Tiny Tots group of three to eight year olds, in performance.

Last year’s production, Rites of Passage, paid homage to the troupe’s 25 years of growth and featured a slew of guest choreographers.

The show will begin at 7:00 pm on Friday, 8:00 pm on Saturday, and 5:00 pm on Sunday.
