Hordley Cross main road in St Thomas flooded

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The police have advised that the Hordley Cross main road in St Thomas is currently impassable due to flooding.

Authorities have appealed to pedestrians and motorists to use alternative routes.

The report follows today’s weather forecast of isolated showers across northeastern parishes by the Meteorological (Met) Service of Jamaica.

Met Service said the rain is as a result of a high pressure ridge across the northern Caribbean. “The ridge is expected to remain across the region for the next few days”.
