Duncans face Village in TFA Knockout
DUNCANS, Trelawny — The first round of the Trelawny Football Association’s Victor Wright Knockout competition will conclude this afternoon when Duncans United SC face Village United at Sea Road, starting at 3:00 pm.
It will be Duncans United SC’s second game of the round after they were given full points for their game against Prospect Link SC.
Both teams will be seeking a spot in the second round along with the seven other first round winners.
Western Confederation team Clark’s Town FC, Coopers Pen, Duanvale FC, Granville FC, Spicy Hill SC, Harmony FC and Salt Marsh United, have all secured their places in the second round.
Meanwhile, Major League champions Holland United were upset by Coopers Pen FC on Sunday, beaten on penalty kicks after the teams were tied at 3-3 after regulation and extra-time, while Clark’s Town edged Bunker’s Hill 2-1 and Friendship FC failed to show for their game against Harmony FC.
