Skunk Nation delivers
Kingston-based car club Skunk Nation made Christmas a bit better for a fortunate few in the aftermath of their annual fund-raising effort Xmas at Susies: Car vs Bike Edition, held at Susie’s Bakery & Coffee Bar, Southdale Plaza, St Andrew on December 18.
“Our crowd normally is a Saturday crowd, but we could only get the venue on a Sunday,” Eddie Bond, Skunk Nation co-founder, told Auto.
The event which was a partnership with CarSexy creator Steven ‘Supa Hype’ Davis however didn’t seem to suffer much due to its date as it managed to collect $40,000 and various gifts for the target charities, the Maxfield Children’s Home and the Mary’s Child Girls Home.
“Since our inception we took it upon ourselves to keep a charity event every year since, and we will continue to play our part,” Nic Lue, Skunk Nation co-founder added.
