Stylo G promotes Yu Zimmi
THE popular slang ‘ Yu zimmi’ (you see me?) gets attention in UK-based Stylo G’s song of the same name.
It is produced by British duo Fanatix.
“The song is all about good vibes. It’s a popular street slang and I even gave Ding Dong a shout-out in the song. It has a wicked bass line and people just love it,” said Stylo G.
The deejay, who is originally from Spanish Town, is in Jamaica promoting the song.
Winner of a MOBO Award in 2014, Stylo G has had crossover success in the UK with songs such as Sound Bwoy andCall Mi A Yardie.
He is also featured on gold and platinum albums by British acts Clean Bandit and Sigma.
Stylo G recently signed a deal with 3 Beats/Universal Music UK.
