Lexus driver, 2 passengers held with cocaine valued $2.4m
KINGSTON, Jamaica — A motorist was last evening arrested after police found 4.6 pounds of cocaine, estimated to be worth $2.4 million on the street, in the trunk of his Lexus motorcar.
The police today reported that the motor vehicle was intercepted about 7:30 pm on Lindsay Crescent in Kingston.
During a search of the vehicle, two rectangular packages containing the drug were found in the trunk.
The police say three people, who they did not identify, are now in custody pending further investigations.
