‘Pyramid’ gets strong support
There was a strong turnout at the Kingston 10 venue on February 22 for the release of Kingdom Pyramid, singer/producer Jahwarri’s first album.
The St James-born Jahwarri (given name Cleve Minto), who lives in Oakland, California, was pleased with the response from artistes and well-wishers.
“The unity alone mek it worthwhile, seeing all the Bobo dem. Is a joy in the house,” he said.
Jahwarri’s song on Pyramid Kingdom is The Kingdom alongside Anthony B and Ikaya.
Capleton does Smile Today, while Sizzla contributes Bless The Messiah.
Singers Mikey General, Limey Murray and Junior Reid attended the launch. Mikey General and Murray also have songs on Pyramid Kingdom.
