Peter Abrahams’ alleged killer to seek lawyer
The man implicated in the January murder of renowned journalist and public commentator Peter Abrahams had his case rescheduled for mention on March 15, in order for him to seek legal representation.
The accused, 61-year-old Norman Tomlinson of Cyprus district in Red Hills, St Andrew, was also remanded in custody by Parish Judge Andrea Pettigrew-Collins.
Tomlinson, who is the husband of Abrahams’ helper, was charged with the 97-year-old’s murder on February 21, after the veteran journalist was found dead at his home in Red Hills on January 18.
A post-mortem examination later revealed that Abrahams’ injuries were deliberately inflicted.
Following investigations, Tomlinson was arrested and charged.
