Vows – Wedding Spectacular 2017

Vows – Wedding Spectacular 2017

Intuit Concepts — producers, marketers and event managers of the Wedding Spectacular brand — staged its annual Wedding Spectacular production on Sunday, February 26, at the Hope Botanical Gardens. The one-stop bridal showcase highlighted the products and services offered by local vendors — from bridal make-up, wedding gowns and tuxedos, to décor and rental services, cakes, florists, jewellery, and everything in between. Now in its sixth staging, the exhibition is recognised as the island’s largest one-day bridal show. More than 68 exhibitors displayed their wares to brides-to-be, their fiancés, family members and other interested parties.

Of note this year was the inclusion of University College Ambassador (UCA). Several student ambassadors were afforded the opportunity of a paid internship with the events production team, partners and exhibitors. Indeed, four budding UCA entrepreneurs exhibited at the expo with UCA third-year university marketing student Gabriel Waitie declared this year’s face of Wedding Spectacular.

Adding to surprises for patrons, sponsor American Jewellery Company gave away a wedding ring set to a lucky couple. Other sponsors included iCool, the Jamaica Observer, Marcia E Roberts, Vantage One Events & Rentals, Black Tie Entertainment — which handled the well-coordinated entertainment package from start to finish — Hope Gardens, Carib Shopper, Live Stush, Fontana Pharmacy,

Power 106, and ATL Automotive.

A fitting climax to the event was the bridal fashion show which featured designs from Minka, Sandi’s Selection, and bridal fashion houses White Lotus Bridal Boutique, Petals & Promises and La Bella Bridal.
