Sean Paul gave a workmanlike performance last Saturday at the Moon Palace Jamaica Grande in Ocho Rios.

The Grammy winner, accompanied by dancers and singer Fahrenheit, kept patrons busy with hit songs like Breathe, his collaboration with Blu Cantrell; When You Gonna ( Give it Up To Me), Got 2 Luv U, Baby Boy,Tek Weh Yuh Heart and I’m Still in Love With You.

“I like Sean Paul’s authenticity; he’s so honest in his performance. His performance was amazing,” Sabrina Wilson from California told Splash.

Simon Samuel from the group Skygrass was also at the show.

“For me, the highlight of the performance was the whole representation of Jamaica. His energy was high. I like how Sean is representing for Jamaica,” he said.

Sean Paul, whose career enjoyed a major renaissance in 2016, was taken with the ambience.

“I haven’t been to this hotel in about 15 years. I came here when it was just known as Jamaica Grande and I like the way they transformed it. They did an amazing job. It’s a very nice vibe and I will be coming back,” he stated.

Cessie Cerrato, senior director of public relations for Palace Resorts, said Moon Palace is about providing diverse entertainment.

“We try to make sure we find something for everyone. Sean Paul was a good fit because he appeals to all audiences. As part of our branding we are an entertainment destination, so aside from hanging out at the beach and having a good time, we want to give you entertainment to go along with your vacation.”

In March, American band Survivor (Eye of The Tiger fame) performed at the Moon Palace.
