Beenie Man made a triumphant return to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in late March, launching his Unstoppable album and doing two shows.

On March 29 he launched the 22-song set at Ting Irie, a Jamaican restaurant in Dubai.

Unstoppable was released last September by VP Records affiliate VPAL.

The following day Beenie Man performed at the launch of Reggae Beachfest in Doha, Qatar, to more than 3,000 fans.

According to Reggae Beachfest founder and promoter Kenya Don, “The Doctor” had fans eating from his palms. They were eager to see him and singing along to his catalogue of songs.”

Beenie Man also performed in Abu Dhabi, capital of the UAE, at the second Caribbean Carnival at Yas Beach on March 31.

It was the Grammy-winning artiste’s third time in the UAE, his previous visit being in 2012.

Kenyan-born Kenya Don is responsible for introducing reggae/dancehall events to the oil-rich Middle East country. He first held Beachfest in Dubai there in 2013.

Mr Vegas, Diana King, Red Rat and Elephant Man have performed on that show.
