Revellers will be making their way to Grizzly’s Plantation Cove in Priory, St Ann, on Saturday for Bacchanal Beach J’Ouvert!

Soca stars Destra and her Bakanal Band and Farmer sNappy, along with top soca DJs Nuphoric, Richie Ras and Smoke will keep the excitement at fever pitch.

“The move to Grizzly’s Plantation is part and parcel of the premium carnival experience promised to patrons for 2017. We had some great years at James Bond Beach, but the event has grown over the years and we needed to provide easier access, more space and better parking for our patrons. Grizzly’s provides this for us,” said Michael Ammar Jr, a director of Bacchanal Jamaica.

Robert Bryan, Grizzly’s Plantation Cove director, is “delighted with the new partnership”.

“We are providing a venue that will allow exponential growth and offers a variety of experiences. Our parking area can accommodate some 3,000 cars. Our central location between Kingston and Montego Bay makes it convenient for revellers to travel back and forth between these two cities, and for those who want to stay we are in the centre of the hotel strip. I look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with the Bacchanal Jamaica team,” he said.
