Navino eyes chart success
SINGJAY Navino is confident he has another hit under his belt with the release of his single Yuh Fi Bruki.
Released on March 10, the single has racked up more than 50,000 streams online in weeks.
The entertainer, born Ricardo Fraser, burst on the music scene in 2011 with his single Chillin’ Time on the Overproof Riddim.
“I remember the feeling that came over me when I realised that my song had hit worldwide. I see the success coming with this single as well and I am prepared for it. My listeners are my support system and I am grateful for each person that has helped enhance my career,” said Navino.
Yuh Fi Bruki is produced by Real Live Records, with which he recently inked a management deal.
The single, being distributed by Zojak Worldwide, is available on all major digital media outlets. A video for the single is in the works.
“In May we will be shooting and releasing the video for the single. The reception has been tremendous thus far and the fans are on the edges of their seats waiting for the visuals behind the song,” said Navino.
Navino said he sees the single topping charts both locally and internationally.
“My music is for those who appreciate reggae and dancehall. I can see the single making rounds on reggae charts worldwide …I am bracing myself for the impact from this song. It is already a ladies’ anthem and after dominating the streets in Jamaica, I plan on taking my promotion internationally in a bid to achieve greater musical success,” Navino added.
