Jamaica men’s volleyball team win in Trinidad

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Trinidad — Jamaica emerged victors yesterday in their first match in the CAZOVA Senior Men’s Volleyball Championships currently underway in Trinidad.

The team defeated Haiti three sets to one — 25-22; 25-20; 19-25; and 25-22.

They will face Bahamas tomorrow and Barbados on Thursday.

The team is also competing in the second round of World Championship Qualification.
