#London2017: McLeod, Parchment advance to 110mH semi finals
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaica’s Omar McLeod clocked the second fastest time in the 110m hurdles heats to secure his place in the semi finals at the 2017 IAAF World Championships currently underway in London.
The Olympic medallist won heat one in 13.23 seconds and is among the favorites to medal at the championships.
His time was beaten by American Aries Merrit who ran 13.16s in heat three.
Jamaican teammate Hansle Parchment was second in the fifth heat in 13.42s.
Meanwhile, Ronald Levy — a 13.05 performer this season — clattered through the first flight of hurdles in heat four and abruptedly pulled up.
