UPDATE: West Indies A 145-3 at Tea
FLORENCE HALL, Trelawny — West Indies A were 145-3 at Tea on day one of their four-day ‘Test’ against Sri Lanka A at the Trelawny Multi-Purpose Stadium here.
Vice captain Vishaul Singh (30) and wicketkeeper/batsman Jahmar Hamilton (6) were unbeaten at the break.
West Indies A lost the wickets of captain Shamarh Brooks, run out for 19, and John Campbell, stumped by wicketkeeper Sandun Weerakkody, to off spinner Shehan Jayasuriya for 56.
The 24-year-old Campbell hit six fours and faced 99 balls.
Jayasuriya 1-28 and left-arm orthodox spinner Malinda Pushpakumara 1-29 were the wicket takers for Sri Lanka A at Tea.
