Flow promises ‘Christmas magic’ on road tour
TELECOMMUNICATIONS firm Flow has pledged to take the “magic of Christmas” to communities across Jamaica.
According to Kim Lee, head of retail marketing and TV, the Christmas season at Flow has been dedicated to delighting customers and expressing gratitude for their support over the past year.
“This year we are shifting the focus from big prizes and simply using the opportunity to engage and say thanks to our valued customers across the length and breadth of the island,” she was quoted in a release yesterday. “In our stores customers will feel the ‘magic of Christmas’ through a number of discounts, specials and other surprises planned.”
The telecommunications firm intends to engage customers through a roadshow, a thrust which started yesterday, according to the release. She also shared that there will be an entertainment component and other surprises at each of the three major Christmas roadshows.
“Our Christmas community invasions will also form an important part of our activation this year. Several communities will see our teams setting up, accepting applications and where possible, providing same-day installations,” she said.
This approach, Lee said, is to ensure that as many homes as possible can be connected in time for the festive season.
According to the release from Flow, western Jamaica will be the first to “experience the magic” this weekend with a Flow “Super MoBay Weekend” planned for the second city.
The company’s “magic of Christmas” road tour will make several stops before climaxing at the Baywest Shopping Centre for a grand spectacle.
“We will have giveaways for our patrons, performances and many more surprises each time we visit a new location,” Lee added.
Flow said it will also be introducing early bird specials and will be opening stores ahead of regular opening hours to facilitate customers who wish to beat the Christmas rush.
“We will also have happy hours and midnight magic on select days along with our customer appreciation treats to make the holiday season complete,” Lee continued.
In addition to the roadshows and specials, the telecommunications firm said the Flow Foundation will also be involved in spreading “Christmas magic” to children in underserved areas.
