AW Fashion: Going with the FLOA

Angelie Martin-Spencer has been super-busy and is spreading her lifestyle wings even further with the launch of her latest line FLOA. For Love Of Agate (pronounced FLOW), a statement jewellery and home accent line that incorporates beautiful semi-precious agate stones.

“My love of jewellery design is actually several years old,” revealed Martin-Spencer in a recent interview with All Woman Fashion (AWF). “No one really knows this, but I enrolled and started jewellery design at Edna Manley College of The Visual and Performing Arts 14 years ago, but shortly thereafter became pregnant, and it being a slightly high-risk pregnancy, I had to stop and be on bed rest, then frankly, life happened and I just never went back. Kids now grown and much less dependent on my time; the opportunity and timing is now perfect to start this new venture which truly stems from, as the name says, a love of agates.”

The line includes statement necklaces, cuffs, belts and rings as well as table and wall-mounted home accessories. Patrons at The Collection Moda show would have enjoyed a sneak peek with the drennaLUNA collection.
