Flooding forces closure of NCB St James Street branch

KINGSTON, Jamaica —NCB is advising the public that its St James Street branch in Montego Bay, St James will be closed today due to flooding.

Several sections of the second city were severely impacted by flash flooding yesterday which left some roadways blocked for hours, overwhelming the city’s drainage system.

NCB said customers may conduct transactions at the NCB Financial Services Centre located at the Fairview Commercial Centre in the city. Online transactions can be completed as normal via www.jncb.com

The bank, in apologising for the inconvenience caused, said that it would provide further notice on the re-opening of the closed branch.
