Dancer charged with fraud
Popular dancer Raddy Rich was offered $100,000 bail when he appeared in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on Friday.
Rich, whose given name is Rohan Lyttle, and his two co-accused Jamar Purrier and Howard Hares are charged with conspiracy to defraud and possession of forged documents.
When the matter was called up Hares, who was sporting a dust mask as he gingerly entered the courtroom, was returned to the holding area following instructions by a court officer.
The matter was subsequently stood down.
When the matter was recalled Parish Judge Chester Crooks offered Hares bail on humanitarian grounds.
Lyttle’s attorney Richard Lynch told the court that his client is booked for a show in North Carolina between November 25 and 28.
Lyttle was offered bail with one surety to report to the Duhaney Park Police Station on Thursday and Saturday.
At that point Crooks explained to Lyttle that if he is not in the island on November 30 he would have breached his bail condition.
