25-y-o man dies in Portland accident
PORTLAND, Jamaica — Twenty-five year old Jason Esterime died Sunday morning in a motor vehicle accident on the Long Bay main road in Portland.
According to reports, about 4:15 am Esterime was in a Toyota Starlet heading eastwards to Long Bay in the parish, with occupants coming from a wake, when he swung from a pot hole and lost control of the vehicle. He reportedly hit a wall, and he died on the spot.
The other occupants were rushed to the Port Antonio Hospital, where they eventually had to be airlifted to the St Ann’s Bay Hospital.
Their condition is currently unknown.
Portland police is investigating.
