MONTEGO BAY, St James — A five-a-side festival at Jarrett Park today, starting at 2:00 pm and involving all 12 teams will mark the start of the Western Confederation Super League.
A purse of $100,000 will be on offer with the winner taking $50,000 and a trophy; the beaten finalists will take home $25,000, third place will get $15,000, and fourth place $10,000.
According to the rules, each game will last 10 minutes with a three-minute turn around at the five-minute marks.
Two fields will be used simultaneously and the 12 teams have been separated into four groups of three each with the winners advancing to the semi-finals.
