Western Jamaica is gearing up for another busy party weekend, which will climax with the ringing in of the new year on Sunday night.
White Diamonds at Cayenne Beach in Negril on Friday will kick off the weekend activities, with entertainment duties falling to Coppershot, DJ Nicco, DJ Kentucky and Smoke Infinity.
Montego Bay hot spot Pier One will have their popular Twist New Year’s Eve party featuring their two-party concept, utilising the inside and outside area of the venue. Hard Rock Café Montego Bay is inviting patrons to join them in their festivities, with champagne toasts and fireworks, as part of their package.
876 Legends and Mosino Gaming Lounge also have affordable party packages.
Mosino will feature a live performance by I-Octane, while Blue Beat Ultra Lounge on the city’s Hip Strip is also in the mix with Unmask, a masquerade-themed party to kick-start the new year.
Meanwhile, the annual Genesis Gospel concert is set to take place this Sunday, December 31 at the Montego Bay Community College auditorium.
Artistes down to perform include DJ Nicholas, Anique Morris, Kevin Heath, Marsha Daniels, Jabez, Romane Watson, Bawn Agen, Discyple and Stephan Peninsilyn.
Over in Negril, party fans on Sunday night can also check out UV at Wavz Beach and NYE Jamboree at Jungle Night Club with juggling by DJ Kentucky, Chardo Flex and Smoke Infinity.
