Weather Update: Trough, cold front to impact weather conditions over the next few days
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Showers are expected to persist mainly across northern sections of the island for the next few days as a trough interacts with a cold front now entering the western Caribbean, the Meteorological Service of Jamaica has reported.
Additionally, this front is expected to become stationary just west of Jamaica.
For the local forecast this morning, mostly cloudy with intermittent rain across northern parishes are expected, while everywhere else should be partly cloudy.
Come this afternoon widely scattered showers are expected across sections of northern and southeastern parishes, while tonight should see intermittent rain across mainly northern parishes.
